Steps:

1. Start with unscrewing all 16 5.7mm screws from the bottom of the laptop.
2. Make sure to remove the rubber pads covering 4 of the screws near the back of the laptop.

3. Pop the clips around the perimeter of the keyboard tray.

4. Lift the keyboard tray carefully and disconnect the ribbon cables before setting it aside.

5. The motherboard is located in the top left corner of the laptop.
6. Be sure to disconnect the battery as well as any other connectors on the motherboard.
7. We recommend a prying motion on the two power cords seen in the top right of the motherboard.

8. Remove all the screws securing the motherboard down.

9. Remove the copper heat sink and then remove the motherboard using a tilting motion for the ports to slip out of the plastic casing.
