HP Pavilion dm4-1265dx Clock Battery Replacement

Steps:

1. Flip the laptop over so the bottom is facing up.

2. Push the sliding lock to release the battery.
3. Remove the battery by lifting it away from the device.

4. Orient the device so that the empty battery port is closest to you.
5. Loosen the two captive screws holding the back panel in place using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

6. Pull back and lift the back panel to remove it from the device.

7. The clock battery is a metallic disk near the battery port. The words "Lithium 3V" are on the face.
8. Disconnect the battery from the metallic fasteners using the tweezers.
9. Slightly bend the fasteners away from the battery.
10. Pick up the battery with the tweezers and dislodge from the fasteners.

11. Fully remove battery from the laptop.
