Steps:

  1. Use a TR8 Torx screwdriver to remove:
  2. Six 5.3 mm screws
  3. Four 3.3 mm screws
  4. Step image
  5. Use a nylon spudger to gently pry the lower case up and off.

  7. Unplug white plug that leads from the CMOS battery to the motherboard.
  8. Step image
  9. Carefully pull out the CMOS battery.
  10. The CMOS battery is attached to the case with adhesive, so you must pull hard enough to surpass this connection.
