LG CineBeam Battery Replacement

Steps:

  1. Remove three 6 mm screws on the bottom plate with a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
  2. Step image
  3. Using an iFixit opening tool, pry the bottom plate off of the device and remove it fully.

  5. Using an iFixit opening tool, press down the lever on the top of the minilock connector for the speaker and pull the plug out gently.
  6. Repeat this process to remove the WiFi/Bluetooth card connector.
  7. Remove the battery connector.
  8. Remove the fan connectors.

  10. Using an iFixit opening tool, pry up the black plastic tabs on the back of the power button/joystick board cable.
  11. Gently pull the ribbon cable out of the socket.
  12. Repeat this process for the two display cables.

  14. Lift the motherboard out of the casing.

  16. Use your fingers to lift the speaker from the casing.
  17. Step image Step image
  18. Turn the device over so the power button is facing up.
  19. Using an iFixit opening tool, pry open the top of the plastic casing and remove it completely.

  21. Using an iFixit opening tool, remove the battery.
