Steps:

  1. Open the cabinet door, and determine where it is misaligned.

  3. Re-attach the hinge into place.
  4. Soft-closing multi-adjustable hinges can snap back into their thickness plates which is the part attached to the inside of the cabinet.
  5. Avoid placing your fingers near the thickness plate as its force can cause a painful pinch.

  7. Hold the hinge firmly against the thickness plate and tighten the screw until the hinge is no longer loose.
  8. There are different methods for aligning your cabinet door depending on the screw you tighten and the direction:
  9. Side-to-Side Adjustment: To move the door away from the cabinet, screw clockwise. To move the door closer to the cabinet, screw in a counterclockwise motion.
  10. Up-Down Adjustment: Screw in a clockwise motion to move the door up. A counterclockwise motion will move the door down.
