6. Installing Klipper Screen

Steps:

  1. You need to set the OS to boot to console
  2. sudo raspi-config
  3. 1 System Options > S5 Boot / Auto Login > B1 Console. Then reboot
  4. Download and install KlipperScreen
  5. git clone https://github.com/jordanruthe/KlipperSc...
  6. cd ~/KlipperScreen
  7. ./scripts/KlipperScreen-install.sh
  8. When the install is finished reboot the RPI. This will take some time to install so feel free to get yourself a cold beverage and relax for a little bit.

  9. If you loaded my config files it should already be included but check moonraker.conf contains:
  10. [authorization] under trusted clients contains 127.0.0.1
  11. [update manager KlipperScreen]

  12. If you used the latest version of Mainsail(v7.0) skip this next command.
  13. git clone https://github.com/mainsail-crew/moonrak...
  14. Regardless if you used the latest version or not run
  15. bash ~/moonraker-timelapse/install.sh
  16. Make sure printer.cfg calls the timelapse config
  17. [include timelapse.cfg]
  18. Make sure the [timelapse] section is uncommented in moonraker.conf
