Steps:

1. Before you begin, make sure to follow the pressure relief procedure documented in the user manual before powering down the paint sprayer and disconnecting the pump.
2. Turn off and unplug the sprayer.

3. Use a flat punch tool and a hammer to tap the groove pin from left to right out of the valve handle.

4. Remove the valve handle from the cam base.
5. During reassembly, apply grease to the cam base before reattaching the valve handle.

6. Remove the cam base.

7. Use a 13/16" wrench, or an adjustable wrench, to loosen the bypass valve assembly.
8. Rotate the wrench counterclockwise.

9. Remove the bypass valve assembly.
10. During reassembly, be sure to replace the copper crush washer included in the bypass valve assembly kit.
