Steps:

1. Open the front grille of the AC.

2. Unsnap or unclip the filter from its mount and lift it from the slot.

3. Thoroughly wash the filter's panels with water and a mild soap or dishwashing liquid.
4. Completely rinse the soap from the filter's surface.

5. Dab the filter with a soft towel to remove most of the water, then allow time for the filter to completely air dry.
6. Return the filter to its original place behind the AC's front grille.

7. Firmly close the front grille.
