THERMOMIX TM 31-1 Weighing incorrectly - Cleaning the rubber feet.
ID: 157516
Description:
Steps:
- Thermomix TM 31: Apply this maintenance or tip to various models. With use, and because the machine sits in an environment where food scraps may be on the table or surface where we usually keep it, there comes a time when the machine WEIGHS QUANTITIES INCORRECTLY, especially small amounts.
- This is due to dirt accumulated on the rubber feet.
- Example of dirt residue accumulated on the 3 machine legs.
- The rubber feet are only pressed into place, so by slightly twisting and pulling on them, you can remove them.
- As we can see, both the rubber feet and their base where they fit are full of dirt, SO THE MACHINE DOES NOT REST PROPERLY AND THEREFORE WEIGHS INCORRECTLY.
- To clean the rubber feet, you can do so in the sink using a scouring pad and regular dish soap.
- To clean the base where the foot is inserted, use alcohol and the help of wooden toothpicks or a small screwdriver to scrape away stuck-on dirt.
- Images of the 3 rubber feet, now clean and repositioned in their housings.
- If the machine were to still weigh incorrectly, it would then be an issue with the electronic board and would imply a replacement of the PCB board, since technical services no longer repair them.
- I hope this helps you, this basic maintenance "repair," which is very easy to perform.
