Steps:

1. Prop the cap out of each hole with a pry tool to remove the blade cap.
2. To remove the blade cap, you will need to pop out three different areas of the cap from the fan. There are three small holes around the perimeter of the fan that the cap is secured into.

3. Face the front of the fan and pull the blade directly towards you to loosen it.
4. Pull the blade out of the rod.
5. Take note of the blade's orientation.

6. If you have purchased a new blade, make sure the orientation matches the one you just removed.

7. Use a cloth to dust the blade or other interior areas of the fan.

8. Place the blade back inside of the fan.
9. The blade should fit snug when the rod is fully inserted.

10. Place the blade cap on and secure it into the three holes.
11. Use a pry tool with a cloth to help apply pressure and push the cap into place.
