Steps:

1. Make sure the toaster is unplugged before beginning.

2. Remove the snap-on buttons from the front of the toaster.
3. They can be removed by pulling with your hands or gently prying with a flat tool.

4. Flip the toaster so that you can see its underside.
5. Remove the seven 20 mm Torx T3 screws from the bottom of the toaster.

6. Turn the toaster so that you can access the back of the toaster
7. Remove the 3 15 mm Torx T3 screws from the back of the toaster.

8. Pull off the toaster casing.

9. Unplug the casing so that it does not get in your way.
10. Unplug both wires connecting the casing to the internals of the toaster.

11. Pry both sides of the broken lever at the front of the toaster away and remove it.

12. Snap the replacement lever into place.
13. Attach one side first, then snap the other side on to fully attach the lever.
