Steps:

  1. 10 screws hold the bottom cover in place -- these stay in the bottom cover.
    2. Step image
  2. Using a spudger will make quick work of this step.
    3. Step image
  3. Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard.
  4. Remove the 4 screws holding it in place
  5. Battery can now be removed from device.
    6. Step image
  6. Unplug the header from the motherboard
  7. The speakers are now able to be removed.
