Steps:

  1. Before you begin your repair, perform the following:
  2. Turn off the main water supply
  3. Unplug your washer
  4. Disconnect all water connections at the rear of your washer

  6. Use a Phillips driver to remove the two bottom 16.5 mm-long screws securing the top panel brackets.

  8. Slide the top panel 1-2 inches towards the rear of the device to disconnect its clips.

  10. Tilt the top panel upward to completely disconnect it from the chassis.
  11. Remove the top panel.

  13. Disconnect the three harness connectors for the control panel.
  14. Always grip cables by their connectors and not the wires themselves.

  16. Use your hands to unclip the control panel cable from the detergent dispenser.

  18. Insert a flathead screwdriver between the chassis and the plastic clip securing the control panel cable.
  19. Compress the clip and slide it out of the chassis to remove it.
  20. Move the cables out of the way of the detergent dispenser hoses before you continue.

  22. To prevent confusion, label each hose and its corresponding dispenser connection.
  23. You can use masking tape or mark the components themselves.

  25. Use slip joint pliers to pinch the detergent dispenser hose clamp and pull it away from the assembly.

  27. Use slip joint pliers to gently rotate the detergent dispenser hose back and forth around its connection and loosen it.

  29. Pull the detergent dispenser hose straight off its connection on the assembly.
  30. Repeat the loosening and removal procedure for each hose.

  32. Use a Phillips driver to loosen the screw securing the bellows to the detergent dispenser.
  33. Pull the bellows straight off its connection on the dispenser to disconnect it.

  35. Use a Phillips driver to loosen the screw securing the bellows to the drum.
  36. Pull the bellows straight up from the drum to disconnect it.

  38. Remove the bellows.
