Steps:

1. Use a PH1 screwdriver to unscrew the five screws that secure the case cover to the chassis.
2. Pull the case cover up until it completely detaches from the chassis.

3. Locate the RAM module.
4. Push the retention clips outward simultaneously to release the module.
5. Verify that the module has tilted upward and is completely released from the slot.
6. Hold the module by the edges and then carefully slide it out of the slot.

7. Align the notch of the new module with the ridge in the slot.
8. Insert the module into the slot.
9. Verify that the metal connectors are completely inserted into the slot.
10. Carefully press down on the module until the retention clips lock the module into place.
