Steps:

1. Start with the laptop face down.
2. Remove the eight 6 mm Phillips head screws securing the lower case.

3. Use the opening tool to pry the lower case away from the body of the laptop.
4. Remove the lower case.

5. Disconnect the fan cable and remove the fan.

6. Remove the four 4 mm Phillips screws on the heatsink.
7. Remove the heatsink by carefully lifting it up.
