Steps:

1. Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the seven 5 mm screws from the back of the controller.

2. Gently separate the top and bottom halves of the controller.

3. Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the two 5 mm screws holding the joystick circuit board in place.

4. Use a soldering iron to disconnect the ribbon cable so the joysticks and their motherboard can be removed.
