Steps:

1. Turn the Roomba so the iRobot logo is oriented correctly relative to you.
2. Place a finger on the release latch to the left of the dust bin.
3. Press down on the release latch.
4. The dust bin will be forced out slightly.
5. Remove the dust bin.

6. Orient the dust bin so the connection port is facing left.
7. Grab the filter on the notches provided at the top and bottom and pull towards you while keeping the dust bin stationary.
