Steps:

  1. Remove all the keycaps.
  2. While it can be done barehanded, use of a flat tool to remove the keycaps or use a keycap puller is recommended to prevent damage.

  4. Unscrew the front 2mm #00 Phillips screws found here.

  6. Remove the battery.
  7. This will require the removal of the back sticker and unscrewing the two 2.5mm #0 Phillips screws circled.

  9. Remove the remaining 2mm #00 Phillips back screws.
  10. 3 screws are hidden under the rubber rests of the keyboard.

  12. Remove the 2mm #00 Phillips motherboard screws.
  13. The G1-G8 keys are held in place by the motherboard itself. Once the motherboard is detached, they can be easily removed and replaced by hand.
