Steps:
- Remove all the keycaps.
- While it can be done barehanded, use of a flat tool to remove the keycaps or use a keycap puller is recommended to prevent damage.
- Unscrew the front 2mm #00 Phillips screws found here.
- Remove the battery.
- This will require the removal of the back sticker and unscrewing the two 2.5mm #0 Phillips screws circled.
- Remove the remaining 2mm #00 Phillips back screws.
- 3 screws are hidden under the rubber rests of the keyboard.
- Remove the 2mm #00 Phillips motherboard screws.
- The G1-G8 keys are held in place by the motherboard itself. Once the motherboard is detached, they can be easily removed and replaced by hand.
