Ryobi P277 Reversing Switch Replacement

Steps:

  1. Lay the device on its side with the warning label facing you.
  2. Remove the eight 5 mm screws using a TR10 Torx screwdriver.
  3. Separate the two halves of the casing by pulling up on the top half.
  4. The two halves are still attached, so use caution when opening the device.

  5. The reversing switch lies between the trigger and the motor.
  6. Carefully remove the reversing switch from the device.
