  1. Use a 1/4 inch nut driver to remove the 12.9 mm‑long sheet metal screw securing the solenoid valve.

  2. Tilt the solenoid valve toward you to disengage the tab from under the rim of the dryer frame.
  3. Lift the solenoid valve upward and remove it.
