Swiffer Mop Mop Stick Replacement
ID: 162792
Description: If your Swiffer mop stick is broken, you can...
Steps:
- Remove the green plastic from the old mop stick.
- You will be using this part on the new one, so don't dispose of it.
- Find a mop stick where the green can slot into.
- You can use a stick from an older mop/broom.
- Put the green plastic cap from the old mop stick on the new mop stick you are going to be using.
- Drill a hole through both the new stick and the green plastic.
- Make sure the hole is wide enough to fit the screw of choice.
- The screw only needs to be long enough to reach all the way through, the width doesn't matter.
- Make sure to follow proper safety guidelines while using a drill.
- Put the screw through the hole.
- Put the bolt on the screw and tighten.
- Use pliers to tighten more if desired.
- Place the end of the green plastic over the mop head and click to close.
