Steps:

1. Optional: Remove the band around the ear cushions if you find it to be in the way while replacing the ear cushions.

2. Take the old ear cushions off of the headphones using an iFixit opening tool.
3. Using the tool, go around the ear cushions from the inside or the outside of the cushions, and gently pry them off.

4. Make sure that the ear cushion is for the correct side if that is specified for the ear cushions you are using.
5. Align the ear cushion with the slots in the correct places and press it onto the headphones.

6. If you took the band off the headphones, put it back on.
7. Repeat steps 1-3 for the other side of the headphones.
