Steps:

1. Make sure Roomba is powered off.
2. make sure Roomba is unplugged
3. If your battery is bad Powering off Roomba shouldn't be a problem.

4. Carefully flip Roomba over.

5. Depress side clips and lift up.
6. you may need to use moderate force to remove the battery.

7. The battery is now removed.
8. The battery slot is where the serial number is located

9. Slide new battery Into the slot.
10. make sure that the clips snap into place on BOTH sides.

11. flip over Roomba.
12. Put Roomba on charge for 16 hours then run on MAX cycle to condition the battery.
