Steps:

  1. Flip the laptop over.
  2. There are two panels on the back. The smallest is the RAM panel.

  3. Remove the single screw holding the panel using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
  4. Use your fingernail to remove the panel.

  5. Push the clip down and move it left.
  6. Push the clip down and move it right.

  7. The RAM should pop up when clips are moved.
  8. Remove the RAM.
  9. The RAM should easily be removed from the pins making sure no damage is done to the pins.

  10. Before inserting the new RAM, make sure there are more pins on the left side of the new RAM before the space in between so that the RAM goes in the slot correctly.
  11. When the RAM is inserted, push it down and the hinges will automatically hold the RAM in its place.
  12. Make sure to not apply pressure to any part. Everything should be done with care and ease.

  13. Close the panel by using the Phillips #1 screwdriver.
