Steps:
- Unplug and turn off the chromebook device.
- Turn the laptop over.
- Remove the 10 phillips head screws and keep them organized.
- Using a Spudger, carefully separate the cover from the corner. It snaps back in, so make sure to not break any clips.
- Take out the cover and set it aside.
- In the lower side of the motherboard you will find the battery connector.
- To disconnect the battery, carefully pull the black connector in a parallel direction to the laptop.
- Remember to take the conector out fully to avoid any shortcircuits.
- You will find the Card on the top left corner of the chassis.
- Carefully disconnect the antenna cables from the card with an upward movement.
- Notice these cables have colors that match the ones printed on the sticker of the Card.
- Remove the Phillips head screw.
- Pull from the motherboard in a parallel direction.
- This is an Intel WiFi + Bluetooth Combo card. The model on this card is "7265NGW".
- It has a M.2 1216 size format.
- Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Dual Band (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz) compatible.
- Bluetooth 4.2 compliant.
