Steps:

  1. Unplug and turn off the chromebook device.

  3. Turn the laptop over.
  4. Remove the 10 phillips head screws and keep them organized.
  5. Using a Spudger, carefully separate the cover from the corner. It snaps back in, so make sure to not break any clips.
  6. Take out the cover and set it aside.

  8. In the lower side of the motherboard you will find the battery connector.
  9. To disconnect the battery, carefully pull the black connector in a parallel direction to the laptop.
  10. Remember to take the conector out fully to avoid any shortcircuits.

  12. You will find the Card on the top left corner of the chassis.
  13. Carefully disconnect the antenna cables from the card with an upward movement.
  14. Notice these cables have colors that match the ones printed on the sticker of the Card.
  15. Remove the Phillips head screw.
  16. Pull from the motherboard in a parallel direction.

  18. This is an Intel WiFi + Bluetooth Combo card. The model on this card is "7265NGW".
  19. It has a M.2 1216 size format.
  20. Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Dual Band (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz) compatible.
  21. Bluetooth 4.2 compliant.
