How to install shower filter for your shower head
ID: 165236
Description: Installing a shower filter for a showerhead is...
Steps:
- Ensure your water valve is in the closed position.
- Begin by unscrewing the shower head from its original water outlet.
- Reminder: You might need to cut off the tape that was previously used for reinforcement. This step might require the use of a wrench for disassembly, so it's recommended to have one on hand in advance.
- Take out the shower filter and rinse it under a faucet (either in the bathroom or any other location) for about 30 seconds to wet the internal filter layer.
- This step also helps prevent the shower head outlet from getting blocked by the substances in the filter layer after installation.
- Install the shower filter onto the water outlet by turning it clockwise.
- Turn on the water after installation to check for leaks.
- Attention: If there is a leak, wrapping a few rounds of waterproof tape around the joint can effectively prevent it.
- Tools: waterproof tape
- Connect the shower head to the shower filter for installation (it's best to use a wrench).
- After securing it, check again for any water leaks. If there is a leak, use waterproof tape as before.
