Steps:
- Pull out the hood release latch located towards the lower left of the steering wheel.
- Hold up the hood safety latch with one hand and lift the hood of the car with the other hand.
- Pull the hood all the way up to ensure it engages and stays up.
- Locate the headlight bulb housings on each side if the hood.
- It's advisable to replace both headlights even if only one is burned out. The other light is likely to go out soon, and replacing both now can help avoid additional repairs.
- Push the button on the electrical connector until you hear a click.
- Pull down to remove the electrical connector.
- Twist the bulb counter clockwise.
- Pull out the bulb.
- Insert your new light bulb.
- If you are not wearing gloves, avoid touching the glass part of the bulb since the oils from your skin will damage the bulb.
