Steps:

  1. To ensure safety, unplug your printer.

  3. Unlatch the hatch in front of the paper tray and pull it down to open the front cover of the printer.
  4. Once it is pulled down you should be able to see the toner cartridge.

  6. Remove the toner cartridge by squeezing the two handles (one grey and one black) gently, pulling it towards you, allowing the jammed paper to come out with it.
  7. Place the toner cartridge assembly on a clean, flat surface to prevent any spills.
  8. Carefully pull the paper out.

  10. If you encounter difficulty removing the toner assembly in Step 3, lift the scanner cover, which is just above the front cover hatch. Avoid using excessive force to pull the paper.

  12. Slowly pull the jammed paper from the output tray opening.

  14. Close the scanner cover securely.

  16. In case the paper remains stuck in the output tray opening, remove the paper tray from the printer.
  17. Pull the tray towards you until the entire tray is out of the printer.
  18. Retrieve the jammed paper from the paper tray opening. Pull the paper gently towards you.

  20. Once the jammed paper is removed from the paper tray, reinsert the paper tray, and then close the front cover.
  21. You will hear a "click" when it is inserted correctly.
  22. Close the front cover by pushing it up towards the scanner until you hear a "click" sound, ensuring that it is properly secured.
