Steps:

1. Unplug your refrigerator from the electrical outlet.
2. Unplugging your fridge helps save energy while you work.

3. Gently but firmly remove the old fridge gasket from the refrigerator door.
4. Start at one corner and work your way around the perimeter.
5. Once you have finished this step, you can throw out the old fridge gasket.

6. Clean and dry the surface with an all-purpose cleaner and a kitchen cloth or rag to ensure the new fridge gasket sticks properly.

7. Take the new fridge gasket and place it along the inside edge of the door.
8. Begin by pressing down one corner of the gasket onto the fridge. Continue going around the fridge, gradually placing the gasket until it is securely in place and properly adhered.

9. To help the new fridge gasket expand back into shape, heat the new fridge gasket’s entire side surfaces with a hair dryer, which should be held about 15 cm away for about a minute and 15 seconds.
10. Do not heat the fridge gasket for longer than a minute and 15 seconds or the heat may start to melt the rubber from the gasket.

11. Plug your refrigerator back into the outlet.
12. Once you are done with this step, your fridge will be good as new.
