Steps:
- Open the cup cake maker
- Unscrew the 4 Phillips screws attached along the edge of the iron plate.
- Using s Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the LEDs from the panel located on the inside of the top cover.
- Now that the top cover can be separated, unscrew the 4 Phillips screws holding the cardboard panel in place.
- Remove the panel from the rest of the body.
- Rotate the cupcake maker 180 degrees
- Remove the hinge out of its socket and separate the top half from the bottom half.
- Flip both sides of the cupcake maker over.
- Locate and remove the shield on the bottom of the machine.
- The screw that was hidden under the shield should now be visible. Remove the screw.
- On the same side, locate a box-like structure. Unscrew the screws with a tri-tip screwdriver or a flathead.
- The screws keeping this box in place are tri-tip screws.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the 2 screws that are attached to the white fastener.
- After unscrewing the 2 screws, two more screws should be visible that are deep in two holes to the sides of the box. Unscrew those with a Phillips screwdriver.
- There are two screws holding a second cardboard plate in place. Unscrew those with the 4 inch screwdriver.
- The plate can be moved now, although it cannot be removed, as two sets of wires are soldered in a way that doesn’t allow one to remove the plate.
- If at this point, the problem is with the feet of the machine, locate the inside of the bottom cover and remove the three screws holding the feet in place with a Phillips screwdriver.
- The final screw to remove is on the left side relative to the plate. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove it.
- A tiny flat plate is being held in place by the screw.
- To reassemble the Cup Cake Maker, simply follow the directions but in reverse.
