Steps:

1. Open the freezer door.
2. The filter is located near the bottom of the freezer compartment and to the right of the bottom door hinge.

3. Grab the cap of the filter and rotate it to the left.
4. The filter can be difficult to rotate when you first start turning it.
5. Once the filter has been fully rotated (180 degrees) pull the filter out.
6. There is a chance some water will leak when you remove the filter. Place an old absorbent towel beneath the spot to avoid a mess.
7. Do not forcefully remove the filter. When it has been fully rotated it will slide out easily.

8. On the filter cap there are two clips that are used to hold onto the filter.
9. Use both hands, one holding the filter cap and the other to hold the filter.
10. Press the two clips on the filter cap to release the filter and once the clips release pull the cap off of the filter to separate them.

11. Take out your new filter and remove the packaging.
12. Connect the filter to the cap by lining up the two clips on the cap to the two slots on the back of the filter.
13. Gently press on the clips, then connect the filter and the cap by pushing them together.
14. To make sure the two are connected, lightly pull on the cap.

15. Place the filter in the slot, with the arrow on the left side of the cap pointing to the right.
16. Push the filter into the slot.
17. Turn the filter to the right until it locks into place.

18. Once the new filter has been installed, remember to discard any ice created within 24 hours of changing the filter to ensure quality of ice.
