Steps:

1. Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to unscrew the four 2.0mm screws on the back cover of the watch.

2. Remove the back cover.
3. Use tweezers to remove the rubber gasket.

4. Use tweezers to remove the rubber cover.

5. Use tweezers to press in the gap in the opening of the battery protection.
6. The battery protection should pop open.
7. Do not apply too much force.
8. Raise the battery protection.

9. Use tweezers to remove the old CR2016 3V battery.
10. Avoid using your fingers for the process to prevent static discharge and potential damage.

11. Insert the new CR2016 3V battery into the compartment.
12. Align the new battery's positive and negative sides with the orientation of the previous one.
13. Close the battery protection by gently pressing on it.
14. Press until it audibly clicks into place.

15. Put the rubber gasket and cover back in their original position, and tighten the four 2.0mm screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

16. Press the [ADJUST] button until the seconds starts blinking.
17. Press the [MODE] button to go through the settings until you get to the hour, minute, and seconds adjustment.
18. Press the [FORWARD] button to scroll forwards, for example, from 9 to 10 o'clock.
19. Press the [REVERSE] button to scroll backwards, for example, from 10 to 9 o'clock.
