Steps:

  1. Take out the front metal grill.
  2. Flick open the metal piece, located by the side of the cover, to get the front and back of the grille unlocked from each other.

  4. Turn the knob counterclockwise to take out the blade cap.

  6. Loosen the plastic nut on the rear grille and then take the rear grille out.

  8. Unscrew the plastic on the fan motor, and gently pull the slide open: There are four screws, proceed to taking off the plastic plates.

  10. Apply machine oil onto any rusted parts, making sure you apply it around, but not in, the fan rotor.
  11. Let the oil sit for about 5 minutes
  12. Do not spill the oil on the surface or into the rotor.

  14. Carefully place the plastic plate properly on the surface of the fan rotor.
  15. Make sure the screws align with the holes on the fan motor, then proceed to screw.

  17. Place the fan rear grille back into its original position and pick up the plastic grill nut.
  18. Screw the rear grille onto the fan motor.

  20. Place the blade back onto the motor pin, making sure it sits on the edges of the fan.

  22. Take the circlip and tighten it well onto the blade.
  23. Step image
  24. Pick up the front grille and align it with the metal piece around the fan.
  25. Lock the metal piece, so that both the front and rear grilles are locked.
  26. If the metal pieces do not align, you will have issues locking the grilles to each other.
