Steps:
- Take out the front metal grill.
- Flick open the metal piece, located by the side of the cover, to get the front and back of the grille unlocked from each other.
- Turn the knob counterclockwise to take out the blade cap.
- Loosen the plastic nut on the rear grille and then take the rear grille out.
- Unscrew the plastic on the fan motor, and gently pull the slide open: There are four screws, proceed to taking off the plastic plates.
- Apply machine oil onto any rusted parts, making sure you apply it around, but not in, the fan rotor.
- Let the oil sit for about 5 minutes
- Do not spill the oil on the surface or into the rotor.
- Carefully place the plastic plate properly on the surface of the fan rotor.
- Make sure the screws align with the holes on the fan motor, then proceed to screw.
- Place the fan rear grille back into its original position and pick up the plastic grill nut.
- Screw the rear grille onto the fan motor.
- Place the blade back onto the motor pin, making sure it sits on the edges of the fan.
- Take the circlip and tighten it well onto the blade.
- Pick up the front grille and align it with the metal piece around the fan.
- Lock the metal piece, so that both the front and rear grilles are locked.
- If the metal pieces do not align, you will have issues locking the grilles to each other.
