Kwikset 450248 Battery Replacement

Steps:

1. Ensure you are changing the batteries on this model of the Kwikset digital door lock.
2. Prepare your AA batteries and flat head screwdriver before changing the battery.

3. Use your flathead screwdriver to pry your Kwikset door lock cover open.
4. Push up on the cover.
5. Slide the cover up to display the battery storage area.

6. Grab the top of the battery storage area.
7. Pull the battery storage area out of the device.

8. Remove all four batteries from the battery storage area.
9. Open the battery package and take four batteries out.
10. Place the new batteries into the battery storage area.

11. Put the battery storage device back into the Kwikset door lock.
12. Ensure the yellow label is facing you.

13. Slide the cover back onto the Kwikset digital door lock.
