Steps:

  1. With the toaster on its side and the bottom facing you, remove all four screws with a #2 Phillips head screwdriver. The plastic sides may start to push away on their own.

  3. Hold the side without a temperature gauge from the bottom. Then pull down and towards you to remove it.
  4. The front panel will require you to remove the lever/handle first, then repeat the previous instruction. The handle will come off with some force.

  6. The two indicated areas will be connected. Push up then out to remove.
  7. However, this piece may come out on its own once the side pieces are off. At this point, you should be able to see right through the toaster.

  9. Put the toaster right-side-up with the circuit board facing you.
  10. Remove the four screws indicated in the image.

  12. You will see that the circuit board can be moved out of the way for a better view of the inside. You can investigate any issues you may best during this step. There is the lock that holds your bread in place, a wire that connects to the cord you plug into the socket, and more. But, it is generally a pretty simple toaster.
