Steps:
- This is the Widex Evoke 440 Hearing Aid that we will be replacing the receiver wire on. Colors may vary.
- Look for the exact part number you need, which is on the end of your Receiver.
- The first letter corresponds to the strength of the receiver. It will be S for small, M for medium, or P for power.
- The number corresponds to the length of the wire.
- The next letter corresponds to which side the receiver is for, so it will be either L or R for left or right.
- Remove the battery from your hearing aid.
- Put your index finger under the curve in the wire near the base of the receiver.
- Put your thumb over the receiver wire and grasp it tightly.
- Pull the wire straight up out of the hearing aid.
- Your new hearing aid receiver wire will look like this out of the box.
- Slide the small plug at the end of the receiver into the hearing aid.
- Push it all the way into the hearing aid by pushing down on the edge of the plug with your fingernail.
- Put your silicone dome back on the receiver by lining it up with the receiver wire and pressing gently.
- Put your battery back in.
