Steps:

1. Begin by turning your laptop upside down so that you can access the labels on the back.

2. Remove the 10 screws from the bottom of the laptop.
3. Safely store these screws in a place where you won't lose them, such as a magnetic pad.
4. (Silver, 5.8mm Philips #0)

5. Slowly and carefully remove the back panel from the laptop.
6. Be cautious and use wedges if needed to avoid damaging the panel.

7. Locate the battery in the bottom left corner.

8. Remove the 5 screws that secure the battery in place.
9. (Black, 3.45mm Phillips #0)

10. Near the positive and negative symbols on the battery, you'll find a wire connected to the motherboard.
11. Gently unplug this wire.

12. There is a wire clipped to the side of the battery next to the hard drive; unhook this wire.
13. With the wire disconnected, remove the old battery.
