Steps:

1. Remove the eight 11 mm screws on the bottom of the vacuum with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

2. Pull the two hard plastic covers off of the floor brush piece.

3. Remove the 9 mm screw to the motor with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

4. Take the motor and floor brush out of their slot and pull the floor brush off of the motor.
5. This is the perfect opportunity to clean the brush as well.

6. Remove the two 9 mm screws with the Phillips #1 screwdriver and pull the plastic piece off of the motor.
