How to Realign a Door Hinge

Steps:

1. Grab an unaligned door.
2. Either you or a person who is helping hold the door up to the desired position.

3. Grab a hammer and a screwdriver.
4. Hold the screwdriver up to the pin.
5. Hold the hammer below the screwdriver.
6. Knock the pin out of the hinge by banging the screwdriver using the hammer.

7. Drop the pin back into the hinge using the hammer.
8. If the pin gets stuck this means that the knuckles need to be bent back into place.
9. Using pliers bend whichever knuckles need adjusting.
10. Keep bending the knuckles until the pin drops back into place without getting stuck.

11. The door should now be in your desired position.
12. To test if the door is back in place, just open and close the door to make sure that the door is in the position you want and functioning correctly.
