Steps:

  1. Using a ratchet, 5/16" Allen hex socket, and 3/4" box wrench, unscrew the fastener where the diving board meets the top of the spring.

  3. Use a ratchet and 15/16" short socket to unthread the 4 hex head fasteners from the fiber glass base.

  5. After 4 nylock hex head fasteners have been removed, lift the fiber glass base from the 4 threaded studs that are protruding from the concrete.

  7. Remove 2 fasteners where the diving board meets the fiber glass base using the 5/16" Allen hex socket and the 3/4" hex nylock nut.
  8. Set the base and board on a stable elevated surface like a table to make it easy to access the parts under the base.

  10. To attach the new diving board, fasten the fiber glass base to the diving board using button head bolts, washers, gaskets, and nylock nuts.
  11. Do not fasten the board to the fiber glass base too tightly as jumping on it while it is too tight can overload the diving board.

  13. Mount the base with the new diving board back onto the 4 threaded studs protruding from the ground.

  15. Thread the 15/16" nylock nuts and washers onto stud anchors.

  17. Using a ratchet, 5/16" Allen hex socket, and 3/4" box wrench, screw on the fastener where the diving board meets the top of the spring.
