Valve Index Base Station IR Laser Replacement

Description: This is a guide to fix base station 2.0.

Steps:

1. Score the front plastic.
2. Use the soldering iron to cut part of it until you can open it with pliers.

3. The top piece has a slop ramp and it is hard to get off.

4. Use a T8 screwdriver to remove the four screws that are marked with a blue circle.

5. It is contact pins.
6. Use a T8 screwdriver.

7. Use needle-nose pliers to pry out the piece marked by the blue circle.

8. Line up the flat sides.
9. Then add hot glue around the diode case.

10. Very small wires.

11. Black PL1
12. Red PL2
13. White PL3

14. Follow start steps in reverse.
