Steps:

1. Pry the speaker covers up gently from their sides by pulling up on the four corner posts that hold the cover in place.

2. Remove the eight 11 mm screws from the front plate using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

3. Turn the device so its back is facing you.
4. Remove the two 11 mm screws using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
5. Separate the stand from the device.

6. Remove the two 9 mm screws with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
7. The screws will be buried slightly into the frame.

8. Turn the device so that its front is visible.
9. Remove the channel dial by pulling up on the dial firmly.
10. Remove the S50 by pulling it up and off of its connecting posts.
11. The front plate is now removable, but has a fairly strong adhesive so extra force will be required to pry it open.
12. Use an iFixit opening tool to pull up both sides of the speaker plate. They should come up easily. Pull firmly on the center to break the adhesive.

13. Once the face place comes free, it will still be held in place by five connecting pieces.
14. Remove the three bundled-cable wires.
15. Remove the ribbon cable connector.
16. Remove the power connector cable.
17. The connecting points are delicate. To ensure that no damage comes to the device please use both hands to firmly disconnect each without wobbling.

18. Remove the single 8 mm screw using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
19. Disconnect the bundled cable connecter from the board.

20. Turn the aux board over to expose the solder.
21. Desolder around the base of each pin attaching the port to the board.
22. Remove the port by wiggling its pins free.
