Steps:

  1. Remove the fuel filler cap.
  2. Remove the two screws from the fuel filler neck.
  3. Undo the following snap fits.
  4. Undo the following screws.

  6. The fuel vapor absorber.
  7. The fuel pump/gauge connector.
  8. The fuel line.
  9. Spread the brake hose bracket.
  10. Lower the fuel tank, preferably using a transmission jack.
  11. Disconnect the fuel tank power cable.
  12. Finally, remove the fuel tank.
  13. Unscrew the nut/seal assembly holding the fuel pump.
  14. Replace the nut/seal assembly, part number 7701207449, during reassembly.
