Steps:

1. Park your car in an area with good light.

2. Press the button on the key fob or on the front driver-side door to open the trunk of your car.
3. Make sure the trunk lid is open all of the way to avoid being hit.

4. Use a screwdriver to press down on the center of the trunk lining fasteners.
5. Remove the fasteners.
6. Any screwdriver will work, as the fasteners only needs to be pushed to release them. No screws require removal.

7. Gently pull down on the trunk lining to access the light socket.
8. You may need a second pair of hands to help hold down the lining unless all fasteners are removed. If not, the lining will naturally return to its original position.

9. Use light pressure to pull the tab on the light socket towards you.
10. Gently pull down on the light socket to remove.

11. Push down and twist the lightbulb counterclockwise to remove it.
12. Wear gloves when doing this to prevent getting oil from your fingers on the bulb.

13. Insert the replacement lightbulb by pushing down and twisting clockwise.

14. Push the light case back into place.
15. It will click into place when it is securely fastened.

16. Replace the trunk lining and fasteners.
17. Test the reverse light to make sure it's working before driving on public roads.
