Steps:

1. Gently lift the wiper arm away from the windshield.
2. The wiper arm should have a hinge mechanism near the base that allows it to pivot.
3. Ensure a smooth and controlled lift to avoid any unnecessary stress on the wiper arms.

4. Insert a scraper or your fingers under the bottom part of the latch at the base of the wiper arm.
5. Gently lift the latch upward.

6. Hold the wiper blade just above the latch and gently slide the windshield wiper downward until there is no gap.

7. Tilt the windshield wiper blade at approximately a 30 degree angle and slide it upward.
8. Disengage and remove it from the wiper arm.

9. When reinstalling the wiper blade, position it perpendicular to the wiper arm. Ensure both components are straight and aligned.
10. Apply gentle pressure by pushing the blade downward toward the windshield, guiding it into the connection point.
11. Ensure the grooves are in place, and when you hear a clear "click," that means the wiper blade is securely attached.

12. Gently pull the windshield wiper upward, ensuring that there is a gap between the latch and the J hook.

13. Press the latch down to return it to its original position and lock the blade in place.

14. Gently set the windshield wiper down onto the windshield of your car.
