Steps:

1. Orient the headphones such that the headphone speakers are closest to you, and the headband is furthest from you.
2. Adjust the folding hinge to where the speakers are facing up.
3. Make sure you can easily reach the edge where the cushion connects to the rest of the headphones.

4. Using one hand, hold the right side of the headphones still.
5. Using your other hand, slide the plastic opening tool in the edge along the cushion.
6. Gently pry the cushion off using the plastic opening tool.
7. Set the right ear cushion aside and repeat this step for the left side of the headphones.

8. Remove the white foam pieces from the old cushions, noting their orientation.
9. Insert the white foam pieces from the old cushions into the replacement cushions. Make sure to set them in the same orientation they were in previously.
