Steps:

1. This phone is a very old model and is not supported anymore.
2. To open the back of your Galaxy S Advance you can use a spudger or your nails.
3. Put your spudger or nail in between the little gap on the side and pry the back cover off.
4. Now remove the battery. To do this you can put your spudger or nail in between the gap at the bottom of the battery compartment and lift the battery up.

5. Now put your new battery in the phone and follow the steps in reverse order to put your phone back together.
6. Congratulations! You have replaced your phone's battery!
