Steps:
- Remove one Phillips screw.
- Very nice: You don't have to remove mouse feet to reach screws.
- Open the gap with your fingernail or the flat end of a spudger.
- Slide the upper part in direction of the mouse calbe. Use your other hand to hold the lower part of the mouse.
- Remove the upper part and put it aside.
- Lift the assembly of the mouse wheel.
- You can see two springs.
- Spring for haptical feedback while scrolling the mouse wheel.
- Spring for reset the position after a mouse wheel click.
- Pull out the USB cable from the bracket.
- Optional: Unplug the connector from the board.
- Lift the board in the front and pull it out in forward direction.
- Reference pictures of the board.
- Find the four plastic clips. They hold the two upper parts together.
- Release the two plastic clips at the back.
- Release the two plastic clips in the middle.
- Increase the already present gap.
- Push both parts apart.
- Overview of all parts.
