LG Air Conditioner check motor Air Deflector or Flap falls off, Motor breakdown.
ID: 176397
Description:
Steps:
- To reach this point as you see it in photo 1, the previous step is to dismantle the casing, which is covered in Guide 1:
- VIDEO: Why am I undertaking this internal parts repair review?
- Photo 2, we see the motor causing the problem in close-up.
- Here we see in detail the cause of the breakdown. In photo 2 (inverted) we can easily see its manufacturer's data 28BYJ48 12V
- View of the motor wiring upstream, towards the (PCB) electronic board.
- To remove the motor, we remove the 2 motor screws to check its axis. We can remove the mobile flap or leave it in place, then you just have to fit it when reassembling.
- ATTENTION: VERY IMPORTANT! I found replacement motors on Aliexpress, but be careful with the description, there are 2 different measurements between the axis of the support where the screws go, so measure it carefully before deciding on one replacement or another. Another problem that I will deal with in Guide 3: the connector is not the same.
- The motor received has a short lead and doesn't have the same type of connector, but it can be adapted.
- END of Guide 2, diagnosis of the problem.
