  3. If the carpet is built into the floor, buy an anti-static floor mat to fit underneath your setup.

  4. Create a path from your rig or pedals to Earth, so that static electricity would dissipate through it.
  5. Not all homes have grounding built-in. You may need to get creative or create grounding yourself.
